Event Details
Here’s our summer lineup for Cornerstone Students’ FOR Projects! Click the ‘+’ next to each date to see all the details. We can’t wait to serve with you and show what it means to be FOR Vidalia!
We’re teaming up with our JOY Fellowship (our awesome 'just older youth') for a night of bingo, laughs, and connection at the church from 5–7pm. It’s a chance to hang out, build relationships across generations, and maybe even win a prize or two. Come ready to listen, laugh, and love on some of the wisest folks in our church!
Before school kicks off, we’re walking through our local schools and praying for students, teachers, and staff. It’s simple but powerful. Meet us from 5–7pm to show up FOR our schools and help cover the year in prayer.
Guatemala Mission Trip
This July, our VCCStudents will be traveling to San Miguel, a village in the mountains near Antigua, Guatemala, on a mission trip. They’ll be serving the local community through home construction, door-to-door evangelism, prayer walking and Vacation Bible School. While practical needs will be met, the deeper goal is to share lasting hope through the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a community where the truth of the gospel is often misunderstood. The trip costs $1,200, and support is needed both through prayer and financial giving. To donate, please give online or by check (memo: “Youth Missions”). Thank you for supporting this life-changing opportunity!
Wednesday Nights-RESTORE
5:30pm - Youth Worship and Message
Join us for a family meal, activities, a time of live corporate worship, and a message where students are engaged and challenged to live out their faith.
Sunday Mornings
10 am - "Now What?"
Students meet after the message to eat donuts and reflect on the message from the Sunday morning service and discuss how to apply it to their lives.
Retreats, Crash-a-House, and Mission Projects
We regularly host our youth worship and activities in community homes on "Crash-a-House" nights and visit local restaurants for our monthly Birthday Bash. We generally plan at least 2 annual trips like our Winter Ski Retreat and Centrifuge Summer Camp. Local nursing home visits, international mission trips, and other service projects give us opportunities to put our faith into action.
