Memory Verses
We are called to memorize Scripture. Deuteronomy 6:4-9 tells us to bind God's law on our foreheads, to teach it to our children, to talk about it wherever we go, and to make it an everyday part of our lives. Colossians 3:16 tells us to "let the word of Christ dwell in us richly." VCCKids Worship is committed to doing just that. Encourage your children to memorize these Scriptures- to cover their minds and souls in the Living Word of God!
Our current memory verses are:
Psalm 150
1 Praise the Lord.
Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, 4 praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, 5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. 6 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.

Children will break up into four different groups to dig into scripture
and learn how to apply it to everyday life through games and activities.
Missions, Retreats, and Outings
Our children love to participate in mission projects both near and far. We have several different projects throughout the year. “Socktober”, lemonade stands and collecting school supplies have been a huge success every time we have participated. Retreats and outings are offered throughout the year. Traditionally, we take the rising 6th graders on their very own trip. We also enjoy participating in summer camps and other activities.
